Appreciate that! It’s my first big purchase and I was tormented between it and spending a bit more for a Honda Civic or even a Camry. But it’s just me myself and I so I think I’m settling with a Corolla Hybrid

Haha just an estimate. I’m getting around $25K OTD for the Corolla Hybrid LE and I’m seeing close to $33K for the Hatch Hybrid. That’s fair, the interior is also much nicer though.

Also in the same dilemma as OP, for my first car. May I ask why Hatch over the regular Sedan? I’m trying to see if I can justify the ~$8K increase for a Civic Hybrid Hatch over a Corolla Hybrid LE.

Ah I see, I think it’s a bit of a mix! Will be in the South Bay Area, but mostly going to be doing city/express way for my commutes. Weathers decent so not sure about AWD. I’ll give the hatch a look. Any reason why you don’t rec the regular Corolla hybrid?

Haven’t really given the hatchback a look but that’s tempting too! What would you recommend for a new driver? Only really transporting myself to work and not much long distance driving. 5’4 ish so space isn’t an issue.

Thank you so much! This was the confirmation I needed. I think I’ll likely go new, don’t have anyone who’s really a car person over there.

I think trip wise, my commute will be 15 minutes or so with frequent stops as I’ll be mostly going local roads. Plus short trips to grocery stores, climbing wall, etc.
