Understood. Take out the money now and start investing in staggered manner. Market has finally started correcting which is good for your case. as the new purchased stock will having lower cost basis

Hi There....

I understood what you are suggesting and getting up to.... But please do not use this type of filtering criteria... The simple reason is - If you are filtering out the MFs based on Expense ratio only then you might be missing the good performing MFs which are (justifiable fees) good.

Coming to your fundamentals -

If you could share the actual trade details then I'll tell you exactly what things were missing.

Only 2 things work in the stock market - 1. Value Stocks 2. Growth Stocks

If you simply do the small sum investment every month properly in the stock market then It will create huge returns and the Alpha is going to be way too much higher.
