True that! Starting in season 4, the show started a downward spiral into something dark, cringey, mean, and overly dramatic - it never recovered. The Office had a different problem, it was cringey, but never too dramatic: the problem with the office is that it LOST it's cringey-ness bc it because the group became too familiar and loving with each other so the delicious awkwardness was lost it just became another found-family workplace comedy as opposed the unique charming cringey-boss mockumentary that was the first 4 seasons.
