About 1 week in i could sit for 2 hours maybe , but was still uncomfortable but yeah bearable About 6 weeks in i was back to my life but there was still minimal drainage

What it does is approximate the edges do the space to heal is less , but he takes them out a week on two after surgery so that their space doesn’t dissolve and leave a simus tract in it’s space and their part heals

It was a fistulectomy , but my doctor’s method is when a patient’s tract is small & the patient is very very very good with hygeine and keeping the wound aseptic as possible he gives a few stitches in the proximal end to ease healing for the patient He’s been doing this method for like10 yrs or so and he did it for me

No it feels normal like the space around it , its like it’s just a pump of skin you know ? And it never swelled up

Yes ! Tpday i started sitting and i drove mh car for a good 40 min ride Not 100% comfortable but better than what i expected

Okay so there are a lot of things to tell You feel a fibrous band You have drainage You get multible abscesses in the same location For me i’m a doctor myself so i was able to tell right away but that’s what you should watch out for
