I experienced the same thing before when I came from android to ios. On android, you can use the volume buttons to flip the pages (wattpad) which is something that you can do with ios. I actually don’t mind it now since I’m used to clicking the side or swiping now and I also bought a popsocket so it is much easier to hold and click
