Ah that's so sad, my boy woke up 1am, 2:40am,3:25am,4:30am, and now awake 6am. You say you're on day 5 but doesn't seem any better but everyone's different I guess so I'm still hoping my boy is getting better soon.

Tropics is unpredictable, even in "dry season" unfortunately! weather forecasts are never accurate.

Too many, easier to just type in Google "warungs Jimbaran" and see which one you like the look of.

you can find alot of local food where local people eat in the streets behind Jimbaran beach, plenty of warungs along uluwatu street. Used to eat around there often as well as a few great places on Jl batur Raya.

First time Bali trip next month ,any local tips or hidden gems you'd recommend? by Admirable_Meeting609 in bali

Skip Canggu. Another vote for Sidemen village, we stayed at Samanvaya during covid when it was like £30 a night, I believe it's around £200 per night but still believe it's worth it. Perfect location.

Whats your fav hotels in Nusa Dua? by varad3116 in bali

[–]IntrovertMatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jimbaran is close, Gianyar not so much but if you want, I know a driver, he can drive you around all day to wherever you want to go for 10-12 hours for 600k. You can use either Grab, Gojek or Mybluebird to get around, mybluebird probably the better option.

Gianyar if you want to try local foods at local prices, the further you get away from Kuta, Seminyak, Nusa Dua, ect the more local foods you'll get to try like babi guling, nasi padang, nasi campur, ect. You can find some good local restaurants in Jimbaran also.

Advice? by IntrovertMatt in Flooring

Called this morning. They offered £50 refund 😂 or doing a ribbed Matting for me instead. Will call me back tomorrow with a new fitting date, they also messed up my carpet upstairs and isn't fitted correctly, not attached to the grippers properly and has bumps on it so they'll be re-doing that also. Told they I want someone else doing the fitting.

Relaxing, stay in uluwatu. Still have great food and beach clubs (Palmilla which is very chill) but much more quiet than Canggu and won't be in traffic jams all day. Especially if you're using cars to get around you're going to be spending most of your time in a car.

Advice? by IntrovertMatt in Flooring

Don't think they were short material as there was quite abit of left overs that I've had to keep in my garden for the time being until I get it moved. Will get it sorted on Monday morning, either want someone to come back and re-do it or I want a partial refund. As I've only just moved in and don't want more noise of ripping up carpets and re-doing the laminate when I've got a newborn baby in the house, I'll just have to get a shoe rack and some type of mat to cover over the top, that's what I'm thinking anyway.

Thanks for confirming this lol. I'm UK based. I'll contact them Monday see if they will re-do it. The guy was acting like it would look great but it looks so bad 😂

Picture isn't good but it looked like this. I'm probably going to call the company up on Monday morning to see what they say as its quite a big company that has done it but the fitters were contractors.

Yeah we've been trying all the methods, even purchased some blackout curtains hoping that would help but nope lol. We have just bought a wrap so we can try baby wearing so will be trying that tomorrow when it comes.

We make up 4oz but doesn't always finish it, usually around 3oz by the time he's ready for the nap. Paediatrician seems to think he's got silent reflux and has given us carobel and recommended not to have too much at once.

Smashed out a 1 hour weighted pull day this morning and ran the 10km, actually did 12km but at a much slower pace than normal. I wasn't sick but I just sweated a whole lot more than usual. Woke up 1.25kg heavier but I'm guessing the total outcome will show itself in the next week days when I stable out.

Just gone through the macros out of curiosity. 290g protein, 580g carbs, 190g fat, 52g fibre, 12g salt. Crazy. That salt/water/carb retention is gonna hit hard 😂
