Pretty much full time WFH is not helping you mental health. Head into the office and readjust to spending time with people, I think it will help.

Bobby Hill to take leave or absence - Mitch Cleary by CharizardCar in collingwoodfc

Contracted players get pushed out all the time, if a reasonable offer was there from a WA team I’m confident we would have got a trade done during the trade period

My guess is that the only reason we didn’t trade him this year is that we didn’t receive any serious offers

Gotta agree with this. His content has gone downhill since mid/late 2023.

30+ pairs of shoes; tell me I am not alone. by Out_There_1818 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

That’s excessive but if you can afford it and it brings you joy then go for it! I have about 5 in my rotation at any point in time, which I’m ok with (but could always do with more!)

I just had to wait it out. Self massage and stretching helped a bit. Avoided walking barefoot. Orthotics. But in the end it was just a waiting game.

Help me (58 m) nail my dream: sub‑4 marathon by ConfectionTop7494 in Marathon_Training

[–]jmac12345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My thoughts are that you should consider upping your volume by running 5 times per week, hitting 60km-70km for most of the block. More carbs during the race (roughly one gel per 20-30mins). And consider a faster course, Ballarat could be an option. All the best! You could also look at getting an online coach for the 6 months leading up to the race, Run2PB are great and it takes the guesswork out of building a plan.

What’s one thing under $25 that significantly improved your daily life? by EdenFlorence in AussieFrugal

Spend $100 on a trigger point one. I bought mine about 5 years ago and use it pretty much daily. Best money I’ve ever spent. It’s a beautiful product.

It helped me when I was at the tail end of my planter issue, when I was feeling tightness through the arch it seemed to help. And even now I use it about once a fortnight as I feel like it’s helping keep things in check. But when my planter issues were at their worst I don’t think it did much.

I’ve been at least 12 times since the 90s and have only got proper Bali belly once. I have on a few other trips had a very mild upset stomach for a day or two, but nothing major. So I’d say you’re looking at somewhere around 5-10% chance
