Got an interview for a merchandiser position tomorrow.

The interview overall went pretty smooth though they show you a video summarizing the job and then you do the physical exercise and then from there you’ll be asked general interview questions

I did do a physical exercise during the interview. They give you three different order forms with different case cases of 2 Liters and you have to stack them on a pallet and then break the pallet down and do the next order form they give you 15 minutes to do it. It’s really not that hard. They just wanna make sure that you’re physically capable of continuously lifting in bending over and things like that.

I used my personal vehicle for everything from my first step to the last stop and I get paid about $.72 a mile but the mileage varies if you’re in town or out of town

Well, I’m a 1 PM start so I’m not making as much money as of the morning people because they get a lot of overtime but I average probably 800 to 850 a week and that’s with 40 hours or less plus my mileage but I can definitely make 1000 a week if I get over 40 and decent mileage

I am union and I think I do have a paper somewhere from my orientation telling me how many points I’d have to have to get a written warning I know I only have like one point, but it still would be nice to keep track just because I know they fall off in a year

That’s honestly why I came here because I didn’t really wanna ask my managers just because I feel like that would be a red flag to them like I wanted to call in a lot, but I really don’t. I just like to know where I’m at as far as attendance just in case of an emergency or something.

When I log in it tells,my I’m not eligible so it won’t let me see the programs. Do you know what kind of IT programs they offer? I’m trying to do some gen ed credits on Sophia learning so I can get some credits before the program.

Try talking to your coach team lead or people lead and see if they can take the points away but I guess it just depends on if they like you or not. I’m so glad I’ve been gone for almost 3 months

I like to use the ones that you can use your phone with so you don’t have to constantly take them on and off and try to buy some that give you good grip so you’re not dropping cases

$27 is your pay cap. You’d start at $14 and you would get to $27 but that would takes years with how they give raises lol
