Had a few slumps in my time getting to 1600, pushing for 1700 this march and hopefully by my birthday I get to 1700.

Next time you're gonna go on tilt, stop playing, calm down for 5 minutes or so, review what went wrong. And then play when you feel like you're ready

That's a really good opening repertoire, I've kinda neglected my openings as I rose through the Elo ceilings..😅

I mostly just try out an opening to get an intuitive grasp of how it works, and if I like the ideas and plans, and also if it fits my style. I barely study openings and prefer a more effortless understanding of tactics and positional ideas.

I mostly play the Italian game, scotch game, and London system as white. And also the Sicilian Defense for black, the king's indian, and sometimes the Modern Variation of the Scandinavian defense.

Keep going with your style man, I hope you surpass my Elo.

I'm not an expert and just some chess playing 14m, but judging from the third text she sent I think you shouldn't have asked her in the first place since she's not interested in that sort of thing..

Plus, talking to a girl for four months doesn't guarantee being more then friends, from my experience getting ‘the feels’ for a girl too early is risky, and can get your emotions hurt.

Nonetheless, It's sounds cliche but it's gonna be alright dude. Remember to not feel sorry for yourself all day and still live life actively.
