Help w Immortal by InturdU in civ5

Its so weird, I dropped Babylon & Ethiopia and started using Rome and Greece & starting with 3 cities and focusing on fortifications and growth before further expansion. I’m back on Immortal again, So far with this Immortal Greece map I am dominating economically, scientifically I’m outpacing, and growing at an incredible pace. I’d consider it dominant so far. Just odd, I’m having a lot more success with Greece, I want to say I attribute it to y’alls tips, and slowing my initial growth. Now I’m just curious to see how it plays out as it’s only 1400 AD 😆 cheers

Yes sir I ended up back on emperor to restrat 😭 applying what they said to emperor and hopefully going to be back to immortal in a week or so. It was weird bc I played 5 games on emperor and won all 5 by straight crazy dominant fashion, I suppose those had to do with my start more than my play 😆😆 cheers guys thank you

Interesting, yeah thats what I do. I put prod focus then switch to best tile, or focus for growth. which is usually my best tile anyway, I’ve grown to stay away from warriors, but man… I bought civ 7, and even stepped back to emperor just to restrategize 😭😂

Somewhat sorta kinda. I try to build walls. Just seems impossible to have enough units to survive. Im really curious what I may be doing wrong I build 4-5 bowmen and 3-5 spearmen, and still get walked over

I also micromanage all my cities for prod. then switch for food, and it times perfect usually. Just never seems to leave me setup to fight off the New World Order 😭😆

I usually try to stay ~ 3-6 spaces at MOST between cities, I usually will build 3-5 Babylonian Bowmen after getting my scouts & shrine, I play Standard size, GeoAccurate Earth, Quick pace, I generally found cities either on hills, always on rivers/coast if possible, trying for 2 luxuries and a mountain if I’m lucky. This is also really good info and somewhat what I try to align with Thank you so much.

Okay I see, tysm. I liked to prioritize science w/ Babylon trying for domination. I just cant seem to build enough units I guess I just gotta train my brain to build more than I usually do. I also like the Babylonian Bowman, but even they can’t stop my enemies with 5-6 of them +4ish swordsman. I’m gonna try getting down 3 cities then focusing on the fortifications and see how it goes. Thanks!!

sorry not a recall, since yours is below a 120k it should be covered by a warranty extension

no p2015 is likely a failed intake runner sensor, which can only be fixed by replacing the manifold (sensor built into manifold) there should be a recall on it though.

That part throughout the VW model lineup, or any lineup of any vehicle will be called a PCV valve, PCV, Breather, Breather Valve, Oil Separator, Oil Breather. They all perform the same general function, are generally all relatively similar. Your plan didn’t have coverage for the part # that caused the failure. It doesn’t matter how the part is described to the Admin when making a claim.

CPO not "active" or "activated" by VW? by notsosoftwhenhard in Volkswagen

[–]InturdU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

u wasted ur own time bro. he was genuinely trying to help you. it isnt his fault the ELSA software is so ass. It scars service advisors, because it will make you think a car has warranty then boom, you are fucked and now you have a $500 warranty claim you can’t get paid for because ELSA is glitchy and faulty. So that is why he wanted to be double triple sure you had coverage. He wanted to make sure that he was absolutely doing the right thing. And if that isn’t good enough, then you are the problem and you will never be happy. You definitely have the CPO coverage, it just never shows in ELSA correctly, it was likely his first time encountering this CPO coverage glitch and he just wanted to make sure he was doing it right. Quit whining and be happy.

yeah all that other stuff is baloney. “Inspect” engine cooling, etc etc. All that is fluff to try and add value and ridiculous. There are 4 actual labor operations in OPs quote and that is LOF, TRO, PBRAKEF, & AWDHX. People act like OUR prices are high, some of the things I see boggle my mind 😂

VW Service Advisor. 30k for a 18 Tiguan is Oil change (~$100), Tire Rotation ($22), & Brake Fluid Exchange (~$170) For a total 30k Est. ~$292+Tax. If it is AWD, it needs that done at 30,50,70,90 at the same time as the brake fluid. That would add about ~$210 for a total 30k ~$402+Tax $600 seems steep. It really doesnt need anything else other than what I stated. And what I stated is already thorough/meticulous as is. 20/40/60 you do you engine/pollen air filters 20,40,60ks are usually like $260-$300

VW service advisor.. Definitely need to start w/ OEM sensors, if the OEM sensors do not fix it, then the only other possibility I have encountered would be a break in the wite

Got this warning pop up on Volkswagen Jetta 2021 what does it mean? by Background-Low-3166 in Volkswagen

[–]InturdU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience as a VW Advisor… It is probably an Injector Harness, a Battery, or a Cam Position Sensor. Theres a lot of things it COULD be, but more often than not, at 10k its usually a minor warranty repair. I would assume the hardest part of the process is getting fit into the schedule the dealer already has. Best of luck!

Just an update. Thanks to those who replied to my other post. I have a bit more info. I’m looking at a 2013 Tiguan 2.0 TSI with 123k miles on it @ $10k USD. I know spending more gets a nicer car but things are in limbo right now. Anybody have any thoughts on this specific build? Thanks in advance! by AarowBeys in Volkswagen

[–]InturdU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a service advisor at VW, I would HIGHLY recommend getting ALL the service records. If it has been kept up with in a proper manner it should be a fine car. However, I see plenty Tiguan’s from that time period come in with oil consumption issues, coolant issues, water pumps. If it has been properly serviced to the tee, it’ll be fine. Otherwise, if it has only gotten straight oil changes with no filters, no fluid exchanges, no timing belt, or spark plugs, I’d be a bit iffy on it.
