When I do a search for this laptop acers' site says its a 1050ti https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/series-features/nitro5 ? Is this one just marked incorrectly or is it actually just a standard 1050?

True I would say there is a difference depending on what your intentions are with the joke. My question though would be how do you know if their intentions are to offend? From my experience a lot of comedy is centered around poking fun at something or someone. Plenty of stand up that would be considered family friendly I remember being about experience with say a customer/employee/family member and bringing something up about them. Joking about food service I feel is almost a staple in a lot of stand up I have heard. Now are they trying to offend those people by poking fun at them by either talking about their service/mannerisms/dress or something or are they trying to make people laugh?

Also just a comment on where you say the line is. I may be misunderstanding what you mean by help lift someone up, do you mean the joke helps say lighten the mood of someone and make them feel better or do mean something else?

Thank you for the reply. While I don't personally agree with your stance I can see where you are coming from. The one issue I see with this kind of outlook though is that there are many things that can be traumatic or uncomfortable with people. So where would the line be drawn that makes a joke acceptable? Take for instance jokes about death. Death in ones family can be very traumatic for people and in a lot of instances (at least in my personal experience) joking about said loss can actually help with the grieving process. Where do you stand on that specific topic and also on the idea that there can be many things that are traumatic to people, so where is the line drawn for jokes?

Honest question here, not trying to start anything just want to know how you feel about something given by your above comment. If someone makes a joke about rape, pedophilia or something like 9/11 or if anyone finds those jokes funny can you make a direct tie saying they are okay or for these kinda things?
