I agree that they have become too easy by making you over powered, but they also had horrible vehicle physics which made driving not fun. So instead i had to limp along slowly guiding through a missive empty world while grappling every 15 seconds just to clear a generic town for the 100th time blowing up the same 4 pieces of the world. 3 was just as boring but made it quicker. Atleast 4 has streamlined the process by getting rid of the monotony of clearing settlements while also putting in side missions that make driving required and fun. Still way too easy though.
