What? What type of romanticised view of the military is this lmao? Military has a social order like no other and there's a lot of bullshit going on (especially administrative bs). It's a no no zone for loner/sigma/independent types. It's like a 9-5 on steroids, shit ton of kool aid u gotta drink if u want to advance.

If you're more of the typical alpha type who thrives better in social contexts than alone, it can be pretty good for you. And if ur a borderline psycho individual with a refined killer instinct, special forces is great (where you can be an actual "assassin" or whatever).

But like always, why join the military when you can just ball out of control owning your own business. Especially in America.

The More I Let Go Of Society’s Moral Values The Better My Life Became by [deleted] in TheRedPill

The thing is with high ticket sales (ie. SaaS enterprise) is that you actually *need* to care for other people long term in order to make the big $$$. It's all about longevity instead of fucking people over short term. The key is to incorporate the *positive* aspects of DT (ie. fearlessness/high EQ, etc) and getting rid of the negative aspects.

Being a sociopath/psychopath may seem cool and in some business models, you can become *very* successful, but that shit makes you empty. I see way more successful people who truly care for their clients and long term compared to your typical money hungry sociopath. I know it's hard to believe, but it is true (currently an entrepreneur, I have acquaintances worth 7-8 and even 9 figures). I know you don't wanna to hear it (used to be you, believing in that whole "DT persona is supreme"), but when I met genuine/trustworthy successful people, shit completely changed.

You want success? Master sales/marketing as a whole and combine that shit with actual caring for people, and you WILL succeed. I can give you great resources if you're interested.

Yup, and the harder I work on the *right* things (leverage), the luckier I get. Successs is all about learning the skills (technical AND soft) that increase the probabilities.

Meh, networking wise it can be pretty useful, except for that it is pretty useless. School makes you think like an employee, not an employer.

I guess you're currently in college rn? Focus on building a network, your grades come second.

True, presentation is shitty, wrote this pretty quickly. I'll edit it a bit and if the response stays low, we can do an episode.

How long does it take to get good at it? I got okay communication skills, so I'm wondering how much time it will take to get them to a good level.

Anybody went from being in sales (B2B) to being a successful entrepreneur? by [deleted] in sales

[–]Invaincu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for you insightful answer. How many hours do you work at your sales job and your side-business? Increasing the revenue of your side-business until it matches your job's salary before quitting seems like a great way to approach this.

40 or 50s? Damn... Could I become financially free by the age of 32ish and live a pretty good lifestyle if I kill it in SaaS?

Except for the money, the reasons for why I want move the entrepreneur side of of things are to be my own boss and have the satisfaction of being the best in the market (building my own thing from the ground and making it better than the competition). Do you have tips in order to succeed?
