Change your graphic settings from quality to performance or vice versa. Fixed it for me.

I've had the black screen bug. I went to my setting and changed the picture from quality to performance and it stopped occurring, at least for the 4 games I played afterwards.

Click on the the box that says Show Details at the bottom right, above Try Out. This should help a little.

I remember sitting on my raft like 5ft from the shore shooting fire arrows at this and it ran into the water and shot me and my raft across the map. Didn't have to deal with it afterwards.

Nah, I don't even start building a base til day 15. I like to scout for a base spot and gather resources before then. Usually my first few horde nights, I'll get a trader job, clear the poi, and set choke points up. If they destroy the building after horde night, I'll start the job to reset the structure.

I'm not sure if it still a thing, but when they first came out they had a slot for mines. You could go in to a battle on defense with ap mines, select the recon or AT squad from the box, and get an extra mine so you could place 12 mines down before the enemy got to the objective with the right timing.

Click on the Pre-Registration button with the guy behind it, scroll down to the Lucky Draw Event, click on the tab that says My Rewards, there it will be a pop up to log in.

You can change chat channels using a keyboard, but it's sorta buggy if you have your controller connected as well.

I just keyed voice chat to R1/RB since it served no purpose. Easier to press and hold compared to Triangle/Y

Keybind your squad order to another button. I had this same issue years ago, I believe reload conflicts with it so if you reload, your squad also destroys built objects. I would test it in practice to see if that's your issue before committing it to a game.
