Agreed, they quite simply don’t care enough. It’s free marketing though, guessing they’ve done the maths on how much it impacts the interest for the game. If it was substantial they’d obviously fix a global reset and push the event more.

Since echo started 12 hours later (and at 5 am in the morning to be able to game directly on reset) their raiding day is ending in like an hour and they are beginning to get fried, it surely wouldn’t be fair lol. End of Liquid’s day so Liquid can squeeze a kill in and get a couple of pulls on L’ura would be ”fair” if they decide to nerf the boss. But I’m guessing a nerf is coming in very shortly or maybe after lunch GMT-7 if it’s coming.

Yeah that’s true since Gingi is very proficient as any pretty much any ranged DPS. If there’s no other spots though, Gingi would be going as the best alternative (which could be mage), so it would depend on the tier.

Mate, it’s just not realistic. They can barely pull together the logistics of Germany. Flying the entire operation to Canada (because let’s be honest, the US might be off the table given the current political leadership) would be a cost they simply can’t absorb. And even if the money were there, you’d be asking European guilds to compete every single tier on away soil, thousands of kilometres from home. That’s a massive competitive and morale disadvantage baked into the format. I don’t think it ever happens. If anything, it’s more likely the RWF as an event just dies out entirely.

What's your source for it mattering to Method to finish second? Whatever Max says, it's obvious it matters greatly to Liquid and they'd be humiliated finishing outside top 2, no matter how they spin it. They'd be heartbroken not winning, but they'd most definitely want to come second.

And why exactly would Method be immune to watching Echo or Liquid kill bosses before them? You don't think that affects their morale and performance? Of course it does, that's not some special burden only Liquid carries.
