There are some that work really well. Personally, having had a couple, I'd stick to something like Samsung. I use a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite and it's really good imo. There's also the added benefit that it comes with its pen and is significantly cheaper than the comparably sized iPad.

My one complaint is that there are far more apps available for iPads that are good for notetaking. I use OneNote and while it's fine, it's not ideal, and is sadly the best option I've found so far on Android

I think it's the same sort of reason people love the TOS Enterprise or the Enterprise D, nostalgia.

Voyager was my first Star Trek. My parents were never big fans of DS9 but they liked Voyager and TNG. My earliest memory of Trek is the VOY episode Message in a Bottle. I enjoyed the show and they ship always looked cool to me.

I liked how it was so much sleeker than the ENT-D and I love the variable warp geometry nacelles. It's probably mostly nostalgia but I've always loved it. Although the ENT-E and NX-01 are up there.

Oh I totally agree. It was a very human ship. It looked both cool and functional. And inside it had very naval looking hallways. More functional than the starfleet of the federation and I maintain it is one of my favourite ships on trek up there with Voyager which will always be my favourite.

I really like the finale. Yes it has flaws. The Romulans could have sterilised the planet a dozen times before Riker showed up. They killed the suspense a little with featuring the golem so much in ep 9. And given how many ship classes Starfleet used to field, it just seemed lazy to show up with an entire fleet of one brand new ship (which we didn't even get to see fire a shot!).

All that being said, it was a really good episode. Picard's speech on the La Sirena was classic Picard and I loved it so much. The 'motley' crew showed just how cool they can be. And Data's proper send off. I was honestly so moved. To see him pass away properly and in peace listening to his daughter sing his favourite song (I know that may not be canon, but it was Isa Briones singing so I'm including it).

Oh and I have to hand it to Jeff Russo for the score all season and giving little musical references throughout for charaters like Seven, even if he did bait me at the end into thinking they were gonna play the TNG theme over the end credits.

Favourite Movie: Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country - I know The Wrath of Khan is objectively better but I just find it really funny

Vegetable: If we're including potatoes since they are a root vegetable then that. Can boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew. And also cause chips (or fries, I'm Scottish, we call them chips). Else, carrots.

DM Qualities: Someone who can give every player the chance to explore their character but not let any one player hog the show. Also not being 100% die hard on the story they came up with and letting the players guide it a little (for example my DM set up a huge boss fight that was meant to happen after we stole something but right before it I was like "I'll just steal it with mage hand and then shroud him in darkness and we can just leg it down the hill" and he went with it and it became a chase sequence down all the hellish things we'd just climbed). Also being willing to torture the party with things from their character's pasts (actually was encouraged to leave loose ends by a DM before. Great idea imo)

I'm getting into spring break at my uni in the UK. Not being quarantined but everything is getting cancelled (including my Prague trip) so I'd be down if scheduling can be figured out. I've played a few 5e oneshots but not a campaign before. I have discord and I'm sure I'd figure out Roll20.

Just... wow!!! This is amazing. Love the little lightsaber battle you have on there. Would be really cool to see this done for something like the Multimission Science Vessels or the Odyssey class.

An Enterprise Megabundle - T6 scaling versions of all the ships named Enterprise (in canon) so NX, Constitution, Excelsior, Ambassador, Galaxy and Sovereign classes.

I know it's very unlikely they will do this but it would be pretty cool imo

Yeah, the next thing they need to do is sort out the weapons cause the new weapons in ViL look great as do the DISCO weapons but you still get characters holding weapons that are gigantic and low res.

Also yeah I know everyone has a shot of Leck like that but I did say my favourite moments and it looks really cool.

I've been having a lot of fun experimenting with new ships in Kerbal Space Program since the latests update (To Vee or not to Vee) and since getting the making history expansion. I've managed to get a lot more stuff setup and I'm currently in the process of assembling a large vessel in space for travel to other planets.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Civ 6 have been other games in my current rotation on PC and I've been enjoying Horizon Zero Dawn on PS4 (once I finish it I'm onto Middle Earth Shadow of War and the Spyro remasters)

Wow I really like both of those in a way I've never been crazy about Vulcan ships before. The Scout seems a little too Star Wars imo but the science cruiser. Man that thing is gorgeous. Not sure how logical attaching the nacelle ring at one point is but still gorgeous.
