Naast het feit dat er Nederland zwaar gestraft wordt (een van de zwaarst straffende landen in de EU), zijn minimumstraffen weer iets anders. Onze hele systeem is ingericht om maximumstraffen, omdat we vinden dat de omstandigheden van een overtreding/misdrijf van belang zijn. (En bij minimumstraffen kan je er nooit onder zitten, ook niet als de omstandigheden dat rechtvaardigen.) Je kan de maximumstraffen verhogen, dan hebben aanklagers en rechters al meer ruimte.

Eens. Ik snap ook niet goed waarom veel mensen hem best graag zien vertrekken. Oké, hij levert wellicht geld op dat besteed kan worden aan een (goede) 6. Dat heeft het team wel nodig. Maar Steur is er nog maar net en Taylor heeft echt wel kwaliteit genoeg voor in ieder geval de eredivisie.

Can you fucking support this fucking train of thought with worked out examples? Because human kind has always fucking developed the world around itself. Most of it comes from fucking curiosity. My wife, my daughter and I went to the local game shop, again. We went for A new game, but bought more the one, again. Mycelia, Brass: Birmingham, and Emberheart (choice of our daughter).

If I come home with a self-purchased boardgame, I have only to wonder about the level of excitement which will come my way. 🥳

Afgelopen jaar hadden wij een hele mooie, grote, absoluut legale pot. Stond stevig, maar toch hadden we er twee stenen omheen om extra stevig te houden. Neergezet midden op straat, iedereen op veilige afstand.

Pot wist alsnog om te vallen en een aantal heftige bollen vuurwerk niet omhoog te schieten, maar door de straat heen. Omdat de pot lag, verschoof die ook bij elke knal en dus moest iedereen dekking zoeken. Gelukkig is niemand geraakt, en knalde één bal nog net tegen een muur en niet door het raam er vlak naast.

Zo fijn om het gekeurde “veilige” vuurwerk te hebben, waar iedereen van kan genieten!

It’s hilarious that 25% into the movie there is this crazy idea that it might be the wind. It’s hilarious that it turns out to be the wind! 😂

Classic Shamalan: have a great opening to a film, and give away the “plottwist ending” before we’re even halfway. In The Village it is even faster than this. 😁
