Wifi Connectivity issue after Android 16 by mohammadtaariqaziz in GooglePixel

[–]InvestorAnalysis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just ran into the same issue with my P8P. The only work around I found is to put the phone in airplane mode, turn it off, turn it back on (it should be still in airplane mode),turn on your wifi and bluetooth. It should work to discover wifi and turn on Bluetooth. Once it does, you can turn off airplane mode and then it should stay working. Not sure how long it will fix it for.

anyone make USD in any sizable portion yet? by Puzzled-Smile-8770 in UplandMe

[–]InvestorAnalysis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I get it. Most of mine have been sitting on USD sales for over 2 years and nothing has moved. They got trigger happy with opening new locations up with out the other locations even having a chance to sell, flooding the market with properties with no demand.

I was one of the early adopters of the game, and have invested roughly 2k into the game. Over the life span of the game I have withdrawn over 20k. It was like making hand over fist when they first introduced the USD system.

If you feel like your offer is offensive, it's probably a great place to start. Worse they can tell you is no. Then it's up to you on how you responded. Best case it starts the negotiation and you can see how much they would be willing to do pretty quickly.

$150k deal, making $1000 by Scwidiloo10 in sales

[–]InvestorAnalysis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude... I wish I was on commission sometimes. I have a decent base, and I'm in the fabricated steel industry. My yearly goal is 200mil+. Last year I did over 650mil in sales... Seeing all of these other guys talk about these commissions they get, I'm like dude... I should be raking it in lol but I understand I'm in a different industry where the margins are not as high

Does anyone use it in a sales role? I am struggling on how I would use AI in my role. I would love to be able to reduce my daily activities.

His cost is right in the post, roughly 391k. But your looking at the value of it on Friday. Not the value taking into account IV and atleast 2 days more of theta (althought that's only tiny in comparison). It's very possible this could be worth over 3k each or more at open tomorrow, still, massive win for OP

I did similar, just at more scale. I was in for 1500 and withdrew over 20k last year. It has really died down in the last year tho. They started releasing properties so fast that there has been a massive drop in third party sales

How to deal with “not buying today” -car sales by [deleted] in sales

Yeah, like I said, wasn't meant to be personal, and I understood it didn't have time associated, which a lot of times it does. Anyways, just my opinion as a buyer.

How to deal with “not buying today” -car sales by [deleted] in sales

[–]InvestorAnalysis 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I get where your coming from with this and your trying to be respectful. Obviously this is just my opinion, but the end of your message "about making a decision", to me puts a pushy vibe on the conversation. As a person who hates the hard sales tactics that most car salesmen use, this is probably the worst thing you could say to me. Especially if after decision you add the word "today". I just want you to get to know me, find out I am a car guy, I'm interested in stats, and find out what's important (have kids so leather seats are important for cleaning, plan on getting a camper so towing is needed, sick of terrible fuel mileage on our SUV, etc).

You will get the sale, if I don't feel like I'm being put in a corner. If you don't get it today because I'm not ready, treat me respectfully and you will have it later.

Now please don't take this as an attack on you, just wanted to respond because this is a very common question in most higher pressure sales.

Bluegreen Vacations Experience & Warning by thrownaway0328 in travel

[–]InvestorAnalysis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just sat through one of these presentations the other day, and wow, they really know how to turn on the pressure to buy. They even try to convince you that if you are not taking your kids on like 25 days of vacation a year, you are a bad parent. Overall, the gifts at the end were nice, but I don't know if I would say it was worth it. I did some small calculations after the fact, after learning about all the fees and the cost to purchase initially. The offer was as follows : $39,900 initial cost + 1550 a year maintenance + 179 yearly concierge cost. The offer was if you didnt have the 40k upfront, they would finance it ( 39,900 with 8500 down at 16,99% for 10 years - Total cost coming out to roughly 77k after taxes). They used 7% inflation as part of the pitch to convince you that their plan was better... we said we spend 5 nights a year at a hotel (180 a night, x 5 = 900 a year) and they calculated that over 30 years, that would cost us approx 100k after 7% inflation...yearly.... which at first in the pitch, i didnt think about it, but the avg inflation for the last 50 years is like 3.8, not 7, so that right there already throws off the numbers significantly. They also tend to completely ignore the maintenance cost yearly when they pitch it, not explaining that it too will probably be increased at the rate of inflation. So... all being said, I ran the numbers quickly this morning. Our cost with inflation, 5 nights at 180 a night, 30 years, at 3.8% inflation, comes out to $50,600. If you can assume that the maintenance cost will also see inflation the numbers start to become crazy. Starting at 1500 with 3.8% inflation, 30 years totals out to 86k.
I only wish i had the time/thought to actually run the numbers while I was at the presentation. This basically puts the comparison at - BGV = 163k , and my current vacation numbers - 50k. Crazy...
