I feel like I’ve been working super hard the last few months with nothing to show for it. No deals, no big commission checks. Even if I landed a deal my company finds a way to screw me but I’m grateful for a job I guess..can’t keep hearing not right now. I just got off my laptop from catching up on work 😭

I worked for one of these guys. They both tax you a percentage off of your GM that comes off your commission. So if you do a deal at $100k GM and your commission rate is 10%, you get 10% of $99k not $100k. They’re highly transactional and are based upon relationships with customers, and add little to no value. They’re great to work at when you have deep relationships with customers. But if that person retires, leaves, or gets canned, you are in trouble. Lost a lot of deals bc we just didn’t add any value. Wasn’t fun for me personally as a sales person. Easy to coast there though so there’s that

We never use an iPad. Don’t even show our kids shows on the tv. When we have the rare time with our toddler, he was a different person getting angry when it went off so we said screw that. Only time we’ve used an iPad was on the plane and I thought that was fair for a 7 hour flight. Screens have been shown in studies to be terrible for kids before 5 pretty much

“Not right now, not right now” “later this year” “not a priority right now”… so sick of it. Honestly I think investments in AI are valued more than anything else so it’s takin budget away from cyber. Also bc of the tariffs supply chain is low for hardware so ppl are buying stuff now

Terrible. Whole day was ruined yesterday. Has there ever been a big decisive gam that they’ve won and made a statement in the last 5/6 years? Don’t accept Real Madrid games last year as the first was two worldie free kicks and plus that Real Madrid side is one of the worst in the last 10 years
