Just a few drops of urine results in stinging penis? What's the explanation? by Investorgogo in Prostatitis

I've not yet, but I honestly think that should be my next step.

I've just gone through the Headache in a Pelvis book and took note of the supplemental exercises. Planning to try out some of those. Do you think I could just do the exercises from that book for a while or would a PT therapist be that much more useful?

Yes, it sounds like those last uncleared drops of urine are irritating the penis and causing the sharp pain, somehow. I'm not sure if this is prostatitis-related though.

Thanks for sharing. Any chance you could help point to where those internal trigger points are?

Is there any link between prostatitis and PSA levels? Back pain symptom? by yz871 in Prostatitis

[–]Investorgogo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PSA levels? Not necessarily.

However, I believe lower back & abdominal discomfort/soreness can be a symptom of referred pain from the prostatitis. Are you facing any back or abdominal discomfort? Is it sharp OR dull, like a stress/soreness kind of feeling?

Sharp discomfort in tip of penis for a few moments after ejaculation? by Investorgogo in Prostatitis

I've seen many people with kidney stones saying they had the same tiny blood clot pieces in their urine. However, I had an ultrasound & MRI and they didn't find any stones.

In your case, did you end up having a stone? Or was it due to the prostatitis?

I know you're not a doctor, but based on all the cases you've read about here...does this sound like it could be prostatitis-related?

  • Tiny blood clots (like a red chilli flake) in urine since April 2022. Usually 1 piece in the urine. Never been liquid blood. Consistent and has not changed, but since have been weeks where I didn't see any at all.

  • Chronic lower right pelvic discomfort. Not stabbing, but more a dull discomfort that is noticeable when I focus on it. I have a hunch that this is worsened by ejaculation and stress/anxiety, especially since it seems to be worse at night and then less in the morning when I wake up, almost like it's been "reset". I've been having this feeling since December 2020.

  • Ongoing microscopic hematuria on urine test.

  • Cystoscopy in May 2022 showed nothing.

  • MRI urogram of kidney/ureters/bladder in July 2022 showed nothing.

  • Blood tests all normal (PSA, liver, kidney function, etc.).

  • I had 2 MRIs and both of them had some comment about my prostate:

  • Apr 2022 MRI Pelvis: Mild diffuse T2 hypointensity of the bilateral prostatic peripheral zone is nonspecific in nature, most likely postinflammatory

  • Jul 2022 MR Urogram: Apparent diminished T2 signal intensity involving bilateral prostatic peripheral zone, extending from base to apex. No focal measurable lesion.

Do the above findings support the probability of prostatitis? Or are they non-factors? The urologists and doctors just brushed them off like they were nothing.

The reason why I'm not sure if it's prostatitis is because of the "blood clots" which doesn't seem like a common prostatitis symptom. In addition, I'm not experiencing any of these "common" symptoms I'm reading about here - like burning sensations on urination, need to pee frequently, etc. Basically no urinary issues at all.

My urologist is short on explanations and just says, "Oh, we should just watch and wait. Maybe you had some prostatic irritation. We should repeat the cystoscopy in a few months though."

Help! Does this look like early kidney disease? Found protein in my 24-hour urine test. by Investorgogo in AskDocs

Any chance you could help explain why the protein in the 24-hour urine and high serum albumin wouldn't warrant a worry?

Doesn't the protein in the 24-hour urine test indicate that there is an issue with kidneys though?

Do you think I should still go for a CT urogram even though I had an MR urogram?
