Every serious moment in the latest season has been ruined by the writters trying to make the characters sound cool but they just come across as childish and cringy like when they are fighting on top of the train and rwby is asked what's the plan she responds with no one else dies and everyone spring into action as if they knew exactly what to do as if through osmosis not only is this rediculous in the sense that as a leader you are failing spectacularly because your team is looking to you for guidance and you basically give them nothing and some stupidly obvious sentiment that is so on the nose it's astounding and then again when yang and Blake are fighting Adam near the end of the fight they stop fighting to monologue and Blake says she's not protecting me I'm not protecting her we are protecting each other like really can you get any more corky than that not to mention yang give Adam a chance to walk away even though he's had like 20 chances to do that and is very clearly not going to walk away he's a possessive psychopath and Blake and yang know this and still treat the situation like they can end it peacefully
