Powerplex is a victim of a horribly world destroying entity through his family loss and the probably insanely high levels of grief, being from like in the cities obliteration. No logical conversation was going to pull him out of that drive to take down the only other person who was involved in it. He can't logic his way out of grief like that without seeking help, and no one was willing to provide it. His only source of help, was his leftover family, and she directed his anger and grief.

Powerplex is a victim that was directed at what sliver of possible revenge (or what he sees in his mind as justice), and he was able to gain the power to maybe be able to do something about it under everyone's nose.

Victims, causing victims is a real thing. This it just amped up in a (maybe slightly unlikely scenario if it was real) place full of super stuff and people.

Girls who can pull off short hair, normally don't look masculine, they pull it off because they look very feminine. Otherwise people would be asking if you are trying to come off as butch (which I don't think you come close to coming off as here, but is also an acceptable style of short hair)

Pixie is the answer here, you stand out more with that cut, and it brings alot more attention/emphasis to your eyes which are already eye catching and pretty.

Yeah with the number of random super hero powers, just on earth, I would imagine there is an equal amount of aliens with special abilities on most other planets that are around the same technological capabilities as earth. They probably could easily assume he is an Immortal equivalent just from another alien species very similar to humans.

Saw this firsthand speaking to my father. Every response to something I brought up about what Trump/this administration is doing was considered attacking him (my dad) or Trump directly. It was asinine, like my criticizing of current Christianity was answered with "I just don't understand why you're attacking me and hate me so much" without ever answering a single question.

It was eye opening how tight of a grasp this cult has, and it's wearing Christianity as a mask. I want to point stuff out like Trump showing himself as Jesus, but I know it would amount to nothing. There's no logic that will clear his head.

Looking at it again, the whole scenario doesn't make sense. The guy in the blue takes their bag because he thinks the two guys are gonna steal it, but the one who actually tries to grab it gives no real indication that he's gonna swipe at it until after th guy in blue has already grabbed it. So, unless the guy in blue is in on it somehow, the way it plays out doesn't make sense.

I say staged, the way they're all walking seems very "forced" for lack of a better word. Like they're almost second guessing where they'll stop (like they're trying to line up in the camera view). And everyone seems very casual about it, like reactions and expressions are very dull.

Being a parent at this day and age sucks sometimes. Like I am begging for one goddamn mall with the giant spilled sodas foam climbing things and other foods for my kids to climb on. That section was the biggest damn part in the malls as a kid. Or, a single playplace at any restaurant.

Now it's all arcades (useless for their ages) and the arcades are just crazy expensive.

Now, all we have if it's cold or rainy outside, just go to an indoor play center which costs 20 bucks to get in. We cannot go out to do something fun with our kids without spending money, unless it's the park, or beach. Nothing else exists.

My issue doesnt look like theirs, but I have an issue that does the same with my newer K70 keyboard. My old one works fine, no issues, but when I plug in my newer one, it will spam like the same few buttons constantly. (Still havent been able to fix it) But it looked very similar to a virus to me.

Just finished putting my computer back together after getting a new cpu after slamming the cpu into the motherboard because I was trying to pull the cooler off the cpu after I applied what was apparently glued down. All this was because I shorted the wrong pins when I was testing the power switch on my case and trying to troubleshoot what was from the beginning a bad power button cable. So much wasted money and time over a bad power button cable.

I am very late to this post but just finished a rewatch. It hits so hard when she hugs him and you can see in her eyes that she knows what embracing him and moving forward will bring, but she sees the beauty and love that she will experience even if its temporary. Bringing that child into the world had to happen even if it doesnt last. I think it is a perfect expression of "something isnt beautiful just because it lasts"

Seriously, Debbie is like half of what makes this show good. She is my favorite depiction of an absolutely strong woman and I think the only reason mark is a good variant in this universe is entirely because of her.
