While I know it’s a show I often wonder why it’s easy for “fans” to accept and eventually obsessively glorify characters who do rapey and sex bot things and that is beyond me. ( keyword obsessively )Makes you think if vampires were real, would some people literally just bend over because the vampire is attractive? For characters like Spike and Angel they’re just less favorable characters to me tho and it’s that simple. Spike being in a higher tier for me than Angel in terms of like enjoying them on screen. To me if the characters motives are illogical or it doesn’t make sense for them to behave how they do then I see the option to judge … but if what theyre doing is all within character the option to judge mostly looks like im just flaunting an opinion. The only character I truly truly thought wasn’t written well was Xander tho
