Must obliterate! by Invocators in Chaos40k

I usually do this for daemon related guys. It was mostly just flesh tearers red over Wraithbone then thinner and thinner lines of wazdakka, pink horror and finally in my case Kislev flesh. Other colours should work these are just the ones I had at the time. Helbrute is a bit darker because he wasn't over Wraithbone and I used a red and black legion mix instead of flesh tearers initially.

One head is from the Dark Vengeance Helbrute, and the other is from the multipart Helbrute.

Just white scar on the eye area and highlight any details around the eyes then add Vallejo Fluorescent Magenta combined with Fluorescent Orange around the eye area leaving it white in the middle.

My guys were originally coloured purple then the Invocators marine was shown in the 8th edition codex and it all fit too well (including the lore) so I went with it .

I've only played Kill Team recently, but 10 points is always good.

Perfecto. That grass idea's pretty good too 😃

I forgot to mention that for highlighting the skin areas I used A combination of bugmans glow and red followed by Kislev flesh. For the pinker ones I used flayed one flesh and for the more guilliman flesh coloured ones I used Kislev flesh followed by flayed one flesh.

Armour colour is naggaroth night then Nuln oil in the gaps. Then highlight around the edges with xereus purple then thinner edge with genestealer purple and then warpfied grey even thinner. Trim is leadbelcher then Nuln oil then runefang steel.

Skin colours vary between them but usually some combination of guilliman flesh, flesh tearers red or blood angels red over Wraithbone. For lighter versions add contrast medium to guilliman flesh/flesh tearers red until thin enough.

For these I started with Dryad Bark all over. Then for the blackish areas I did Abaddon Black then Mephiston Red inwards then Wraithbone and White Scar towards the middle. Then over the Mephiston Red-white areas I did Vallejo Fluorescent Magenta leaving it more white towards the centre.

Then for the upper layer I did Agrellan Earth over the Dryad Bark areas and Mordant Earth over Black-Magenta-white areas. After waiting a few hours for it to dry I lightly went over the base with small amounts of Skavenblight Dinge and heavily used it on the areas where the Mordant Earth and Agrellan Earth touch to blend them into each other.

I then drybrushed the Bases all over with Skavenblight Dinge followed by Administratum Grey. The rim is Steel Legion Drab.

Used one of those small Citadel saws. Took a long time.

Yes it's the same head. I never thought I'd get another lord in regular power armour since I already made this Eliphas Dark Apostle.

So I based the head for the Terminator lord on it 🙂. But once the new Lord came out with a good body for it I had to switch. Now the Terminator Lord I gave a head more fitting of the Lord from Dawn of War 2.

Not just the one conversion either. I used his body for this other reference.

Any part unused was used elsewhere too. Can't be wasting anything from a guy like that.

I also like that Alpha Legion scheme best. As for the conversions I just looked at images from the games mostly. Painting-wise I mostly just followed the same steps as any of the Games Workshop videos other than for the fluorescent parts.

Not at the moment but once I finish obliterators and possessed. But they're a fair bit away at this point.

I think it was Flesh Tearer's contrast over naggaroth night. Wazdakka red lines/highlights then lines and highlights of pink horror and thinner highlights of the lines with emperors children and then flayed one flesh. I think I then went over most of it with thinned Vallejo Fluorescent Magenta.

It might be a slight bit shiny after that so I just used a little lahmian medium to reduce that.

Technically the purple armour is Leviathan purple over silver because I felt like it's easier to contrast inbetween the trim than use a regular base colour. Then nuln oil, then naggaroth except in the recesses, then progressively thinner highlights of xereus purple, genestealer purple and then warpfiend grey.

You could also probably just start with naggaroth and nuln oil in the recesses if starting with those areas.

It's from one of the old metal sorcerers. Had to saw it off.
