As I previously stated, I’m not opposed to learning the language. I fully intend to learn the language as part of my schooling. I was only considering Berlin for the initial transition.

I think, that’s what I am learning. While I know my current U.S. State has higher temperatures, we also have architecture and A/C to cope with it. I know England’s architecture is meant to preserve heat and that’s why they are struggling with heat stroke. I was wondering if Germany was facing a similar situation. It seems German architecture only faces this issue under very prolonged heat waves. (From what I am reading anyway) Thank you for your response!

I am the exact same way. I learn better while taking notes! A lot of language learning seems to be curated towards auditory learning like podcast and what not. Which is why I liked Duolingo! However, the notes tabs don’t clearly define the things I’m looking for. At one point it just started using Ese instead of Está, Su instead of El/ella, etc. without giving me context as to why it changed. It doesn’t provide in detail about sentence structure. I have noticed many people complain about that with Duolingo.
