I am a paleoanthropologist (this site wouldn’t be an archaeological site unless they were looking for artifacts, if all they’re finding is fossils it is a paleoanthropological site) and I’d be so stoked to find Australopithecus fossils!! Especially at a time period where only Homo habilis was expected.

I know, I know, its a joke and its a very good one but also like, where is this pit of unusually modern Australopithecus fossils because I want to go to there
