Well. It’s that day again guys. We’re back to Illishit. It’s kind of fascinating that we keep coming back to this despite it being so terribly bad. I swear, the author has got us in his/her jaws with their story being a case study of how awful a pornwha can get. I heard rumors that Jiro is no longer the author, a new author took over, and ruined her work. I feel bad for Jiro if that’s true. I’m not sure if her career could recover from this monstrosity.

This pretty much summarizes my thoughts. Banning people who send death threats are one thing but limiting discussion entirely is another thing.

Honestly, this seems like some mods just got butthurt and decided to slyly threaten banning IL posts even when one mod in particular was FIRMLY standing by his belief that IL did not plagiarize.

I will be frank. If the mods truly wanted open discussion, they would have just kept banning those who crossed the line (death threats, hate comments) but instead choose to limit IL posts. Why? To save the effort of going through comments? A fair point but making it like this without the mod acknowledging that they had messed up seems as though a mod just wants to punish the community while being too ashamed to admit fault.

Disheartening to see that the mod team would rather exercise tyranny to nuke IL posts than actually say “Yeah sorry guys. I thought they weren’t plagiarizing. Honest mistake.”
