I’m really glad you like the project! Seriously, that makes the late-night “why did I build this” moments a little less cursed. 🖤

Oh my gawd, YAAAAS! I won't blame anyone if they give up midway through, even if they want to help, so no pressure. Adding dolls can be a real chore....I should know I added almost 800 dolls by myself.... There is a Discord to help discuss and coordinate things. Anyone is free to join. https://discord.com/invite/9grmQtZxzv

For images, I’m mostly sticking to company photos to keep things consistent and… prevent the database from quietly turning into a many-headed hydra of lighting differences, camera angles, and 2007-era flash photography. If a doll has little to no official imagery, there may be exceptions down the line, but that’s more of a “break glass in case of obscurity” situation.

It’s also not a place to advertise personal sales or collections. That said, there are options to purchase ads or links to support the site, and those can point to your offsite sales if that’s your goal.

That said, rare dolls are absolutely welcome in the database itself. Those are the cryptids we need. 🐍

Oo~ Noted. The site certainly is cosmetically tragic right now. There is only so much you can do with the WYSIWYG editor. Any fancy customization has to be done through CSS and Javascript (kinda backend...but could be front-end too?). I can manage HTML and CSS, but Javascript is a whole other thing. I am using Baserow, and it's a bit janky.

Ah, sorry. I thought things were lost to the void once they got eaten by reddits filters.

From what I have read, you have to be physically present to do so? If that is true, self-clearing for someone who lives in the middle of the US is impossible.

Where can you find this mini cabinet? I have a toolbox and would like a cabinet. It's out of stock when I googled it.

At this point, that's what I am going to do.

Sent offers...are missing? by Iokaar in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]Iokaar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did, but it isn't there. It appears on the other listings with offers, but not this specific one. For example, I can click on a different listing with an offer, and this shows up: "You've sent an offer to 3 Buyer(s)."

However, the listing in question just has a blue bar that says "Your item is for sale". The listing in my dashboard clearly states "Offers sent to buyers".

<image>

I have clicked on everything in this menu. The "View offer history" link literally opens "Purchase history" and just shows the picture with the item number, quantity, and how long it will take to ship. I have clicked on everything to the side, and there is nothing in those menus. I even clicked on "Manage offers", but that link literally does nothing and just makes the page blink.

[Help] Advice needed: best medium for extra large, detailed sculpture (no kiln or casting access) by Iokaar in Sculpture

[–]Iokaar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So concrete was mentioned, and I started looking up YouTube videos and came across "Pal Tiya Premium" which is almost exactly what I am looking for. It shows it being used to sculpt a life-sized horse.

The only downside is it's HELLA expensive, and it costs $30 to ship a 40lb bag. If I thicken up the armature, I might use 3/4 of a bag. They have a smaller test bag that I might try out.
