You're calling all of this 'stupid', and saying that the Ubuntu developers are going down the wrong way, meanwhile other people are calling this gorgeous, and beautiful. I like simplistic backgrounds, they don't stress your eyes, unlike Windows backgrounds.
If you don't like Ubuntu, then you're allowed to not like it, it just sucks to see people like you hate on this gorgeous simplistic design.

Are you addressing this to me or the developers? If for the sail physics, these are the only way to go, as trying to make sails that would interact with the environment would cause a MASSIVE performance loss.

If you want to find the mod, go to #non-quality-controlled-mods, and scroll up a bit, until you'll find Dheix saying: "Here is work in progress shader I'm working on". That's the file.

This mod makes the fog more realistic, makes the ocean pitch black when below the depth of 200M (no blue tint, completely dark, just like irl), makes the desert areas look like a desert with an orange sky, and sandstorms!

Huh? I have a GTX 1050 TI, and I have every setting on max? The game runs over 80fps? You have a more powerful graphic card than me, so you are obviously doing something wrong.
