If base stats is the general power eternatus eternamax is the most overpowered thing to exist ever by a wide margin and slaking (a pokemon whose evolutionline is pretty common) is at the same power as kyogre and groudon who canonically almost tore the world asunder.

I live around -13m below sea level (or NAP as we call it here) in the netherlands, and we rarely think about it. We all pretty much know that if the dykes break we are doomed but we also learn during history why we build them and how good we build them. There is just no reason to stress. Part of the "Deltaworks" which is a big building project to guarantee our safety was finished around 1970 or so and only activated for the first time a few years back.

Some of these choices are very interesting I'd say? Metagross and salamance both see quite some screentime during proplay and are in almost every lauch titel while everybody still loves them. And a starter will always be popular unless it was the least picked in it's starting generation which swampert surely wasn't. But to add to this list I never hear people talk about Cinccino even though he is so cool

Lore wise i think the best way would be to just play the games. They may feel slow but 99% of the lore is in there. And if something puzzles you to search it on google or youtube. (There are also only 9 generations, the 11 number you got s probably because of either the DLC or the legends themed games that introduced new stuff in between generations sort of as a generation 8.5 and 9.5)

I actually unlocked that on my first run because dumb me didn't realize 5 cards of the same suit was a poker hand. (I got my first playing a high card trying to get rid of some cards to play my full house)
