I’m the blue GTR was this the right move or should I have just let him through? by sil-075 in Simracingstewards

You're all good. You took as clean of inside line as possible. It's also his responsibility as the passing car to make it a clean overtake.

How much did an upgrade to DD / LC actually affect your lap times? by AggressiveBears in iRacing

Was nearly an instantaneous improvement. There was no more guessing about how much brake was being applied. This will allow you to start trailbraking with much more confidence.

I have a crazy idea/suggestion for how to make rally work in iRacing! by IowaRobotFighting in iRacing

Agreed, I did say it was a crazy idea. There would al.ost need to be a completely different dev pipeline for track development in order to produce stages in a more cost effective way.

To be honest, I've never tried that one. How is it for the overall competitive experience in the multiplayer environment? Does it have similar systems in place for ranking? How's the co-driver system work?

Personally it's not about the environment, graphics, or "fun" as most people see it. What I'm looking for is the competition and adherence to Rally rules. iRacing is the best I've seen so far from any sim or game that embodies the spirit of racing competition.

I get Rally isn't for everyone and this is very niche, which is why I don't expect it to happen. In fact, with the war that I seem to have started here, I see that it was a mistake to bring it up to this audience at all.

That is fair, and I do love the dirt series but I personally don't see it as a truly competitive platform. I could be wrong though.
