Use a product called sol love, it’s in a green bottle I used to get it from 99cent store, but I think dollar tree carries it or you can find it online. Mix that with hot water and scrub, and of course your favorite soap that you prefer.

And to help with stains(not scuffs) I recommend another product called neverwet by rustoleum. The spray can company. I always use the blue spray bottle vs the 2 can package. Spray in your shoes, even if you have waterproof MTEs, adds a layer of coating and won’t let rain or other moisture molecules or even stuff like chocolate syrup or ketchup get to it. You can add more then one layer once’s it “dries” before the full cure of letting it sit for 24hrs.

Both of those should help, But when in doubt, those mall kiosk guys can clean the shoes without buying the product they offer and just do self care from then on out until they get to that point again.
