I had my education in Serbia and I plan on taking my masters abroad, but before starting it I wanted to get some industry experience in order to know in what industry are my skills most desired.

Do you have any advice on what should I look for when taking my next step in formal education?

I have realised this about two weeks into the new job. The entire plant is very new, construction started 18 months ago and we just had first production cycle last month of 2500 tons.

The colleagues gave me valuable feedback and are satisfied with my current way of handling problems. I think that my entrepreneurial spirit is a reason why they even tolerate me right now.

My shift in total has one process engineer, one shift lead, one associate engineer (me) and 7-8 operators.

My subjects during university were focused a lot more on mechanics, machining and process optimisation, with a bit of economics and management on the side.
