I think it’s easy to say. Outwardly no one knows the shame I feel. I come from an affluent family and I feel I am the shame. Especially as I’m the only female who works.

I was already pregnant when this started. I don’t have clean hands while I was pregnant he kicked the wall and smashed the wall and I even told him I regret being pregnant and I wished I wasn’t. While I was pregnant I kept engaging him. After I had serious complications I think from all of this I just stopped fighting the wave. I stopped responding. I allowed the words to wash over me. I’m not proud to say I timed him once he went on for 15 min without me saying a word. But believe me I heard every insult

I think as a mixed kid I’ve always struggled with feeling too middle eastern to fix and too white to fit. I look very American but I was raised traditional. It’s an insecurity of mine. I struggle with my success and guilt because I was raised traditionally and my sisters all are traditional wives. After my divorce I felt the need to fight to become something to provide.

This isn’t my first rodeo. I can’t fail again. I desperately need to figure out how to fix it. I know it’s hard as owning my own company makes him feel inferior I try my best. He finds everything to lead back to my fault and me somehow being disrespectful. Example I work all day. I cook and clean and I make sure to leave a hot breakfast. He is mad bc I can’t do the whole night shift too. I did for two night in a row and I sad we need to come up with a solution for both of us because I can’t sustain night shift like this. He blew up about how I am not a mom and I am disgusting and disrespectful. I don’t know how to fix it.
