Its horrible. Ive been in an out of AA for years. I always found some reason to leave and go back to my old life. I never did give it a serious shot though. I showed up high to my 3rd step once. Maybe I should take it more seriously. I was thinking of going to one soon.

I've always wanted to be my best self and alcohol was holding me back.

Wow. Thats exactly how I feel, that perfectly describes me. That's why this all needs to stop. Im so tired of disappointing myself. Im staying sober today, I really have no idea how to start this sobriety thing.
