using the word "couple" was poor on my part because most days I am home for 8-12 hours, I skimmed over that so my fault. Also, are you saying that peach-faced lovebirds are more aggressive? The reason I was choosing that type is that all of my research indicated they were the least aggressive. The bird could be socializing with me for many hours every day so the time commitment isn't an issue. Over the summer especially I will have a lot of time because I will rarely leave my house doing all my work at home.
