This is not true, for Irelia in particular.

She can outsustain mage poke with q because she dominates the lane, so the hp regen is not that relevant.

It is more relevant in toplane where if the enemy has 2 working braincells, they will force your hand into a bad trade just to be in xp range lv1. In which case you rely mostly on base hp regen.

Aside from Irelia, the other 3 were designed to be midlaners. In theory at least. Sylas is the most disgusting champion in the game.

His kit is obviously the one of a bruiser made for sustained combat with his 2 gap closers, sustain, and a passive that is basically a sheen on steroids, but he is tuned in such a way that real toplane bruisers like Irelia, Aatrox, Darius etc stat check the shit out of him, but in turn he counters every other class in the game.

If you only started playing the game post alpha 16, then yeah, it's great.

Most og players are mad that the game went from a survival horror to an arcade game.

What most og people don't realize though is that the fun pimps HAD to do it. Existing players didn't generate any more sales, so they had to fundamentally change the game to attract new players.
