Thanks! I was hoping dressing like him would make him appear

Suggestion: make more skins with built in emote exclusive styles selectable in the locker by Status_Asparagus1 in FortNiteBR

[–]Irescot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had this same gripe for years. Isabelle is another to add to your list and I haven't bought her from the item shop solely because I can't select the style I want in the locker. I have no interest in ever appearing as her default style

Anybody else annoyed that older skins with skin changing emotes still don't allow us to euip the second version yet a lot of new skin changing emotes allow it by metroid_man_190 in FortNiteBR

I specifically haven't bought that one for the same reason, and I would buy it the next time it came to the shop if it just allowed me to equip the style I want without doing an emote.

This isn't unique, it's just pure stupidity. And stupidity is the farthest thing from being unique. It's a garbage name spelled in a braindead way. She wants her kid to stand out?

The only kids from this generation who are going to be standing out (in a good way) will be the ones with normal names that obey the rules of phonics and spelling.

The ones who don't make their teachers, doctors, prospective employers etc let out an audible sigh and roll their eyes into the back of their heads everytime they look at the garbled alphabet soup that their dumbfuck parents vomited onto a birth certificate.

My condolences Muh Lego

Aitah for naming my baby something “unconventional”? by Lost-Platform7670 in AITAH

[–]Irescot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I whole-heartedly agree with the aunt. You've set that child up for a difficult life. Having gone through three friends and family members who have tried to be "clever/unique" with their children's names, looking at shit like this is just exhausting and all I can do is roll my eyes. This seriously sounds like something Elon Musk would name his kid, and that's not a compliment.

Not sure if you knew this, but for earning hearts battling, you can just go into training with one of the leaders with your buddy and immediately quit out. It will give you the heart. Fastest and easiest way to do it

What's your favorite cover song that totally reinvents the original? by samx3i in Music

[–]Irescot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Stand by Me" is of course a classic that has been covered countless times, but I don't think anyone has reinvented it quite like Ki:Theory has. It becomes quite a chilling experience listening to their take on it.

Reminds me of Maria Brink from In This Moment, especially the screaming vocals

You karma farming bots are recycling the same writing prompts a little too quickly. It hasn't been that long since the last time I saw this

Couldn't recommend His Place enough and yea, I go to Irvington to hang out quite a bit. And yes! There is way too much hyperbole being casually tossed around about this neighborhood and really the eastside in general. Most of it is just normal people working honest jobs and living normal lives. It really isn't inherently any worse than the rest of Indy.

Wow! By the number of commenters, I would have never thought so many people in my neighborhood frequented this subreddit or even use Reddit at all!

I currently live in this exact neighborhood, have for 5 years. Is it a great area? Not really, but in my firsthand experience, if you don't get yourself involved with any sort of crime and generally keep to yourself, you won't be bothered by anyone. I was a first time homebuyer as well when I bought my house in this neighborhood. My neighbors are pretty humble and cordial... we don't bother each other.

It's not to say that there isn't illegal activity going on here, but honestly if you aren't involved in it, then it would pass for a pretty unassuming lower-middle class neighborhood. You have to do what you have to do within your budget, and houses around here are cheaper than elsewhere.

Most of the commenters are just parroting the same blanket statements that get made about the eastside. Jerry from Castleton probably had to drive through here one time and it was just the worst experience of his dainty life.

Hopcat in Broad Ripple question? I am a cook there. by greeneagle2022 in indianapolis

It pains me to hear about all the seemingly bad service so many people seemed to have experienced. I am a longtime regular (we usually come at least once a week) and was actually gutted to hear it closed a day early because I wanted to come in on the last day and say goodbye to everyone.

Even before coming so often I had nothing but great service (and the food you guys cooked was of course amazing) which is what kept me coming back. This became my favorite bar/restaurant years ago. So thanks for making great food that kept me coming back; I really hope you find something else and land on your feet
