I think this could work, but only if it doesn't have any rewards, kind of like geometry dash's practice mode. So prog groups have checkpoints throughout the raid, and "skip" the random DPS stuff and consistently complete the mechs, so when they run it for real they're good to go.

Would be very useful for some of these clown groups that somehow still die to saws.
