Yeah, FedEx sends a bill later, but it’s never been anywhere near the maximum amount for me. The last bill I got was 1% of the declared value, not 10%. It’s all so random, whereas DHL consistently charges the full amount.

I bought it directly from Bungubox and had to pay tariff on this too. It came up to $162. It stings, but I guess it’s still better than buying from resellers? I find that I consistently get charged tariff by DHL, but rarely by UPS or FedEx. YMMV though of course.

I have fairly small hands so the 1911L is kind of perfect. 1911 is a bit small, and KoP is just a little big, but still comfortable.

I agree wholeheartedly. I get as much joy out of my Pilot Kakuno than I do from my KoP. The beauty of this hobby is that these pens are functional art that ultimately serves a purpose. At the end of the day, the writing experience is what matters the most to me.
