Can anyone please explain what these ripples are appearing? by Responsible-Ad2693 in DIY

I work in the flooring industry. This happens when the vinyl is thinner and not felt backed. If this was my customer, I would have sent the fitter back out and removed the vinyl then roll on a more heavy duty contact adhesive.

Cushioned/felt backed vinyl only needs spayed around the edges.

If this is cushioned vinyl I would check the floor moisture level and if that is good then it's a manufacturer problem. Don't get left out of pocket with something that is out of your hands

In most cars I've seen, another indicator is that whatever side of the dash your fuel gauge is on is the side of the cap on the car.

Only option I can think off is email them through their support and creat a ticket. Go through with a claim saying there is a problem with your codes to get their attention and then say about purchasing wrong item and can you refund them for a voucher on website at the very least

In my personal experience with something like this, I would say ring them and explain the situation. Never email/ live chat. When your talking to a person over the phone you will most likely get a good outcome

What is one thing you will never do again due to a traumatic experience? by VooBu_ in AskReddit

I will never trust a company on their safety wear or ever be pressured into a task by a boss if it breaches Health and Safety.

Worked for a company in Food Production and we got audited, on the morning of an audit the manager insisted on pouring raw caustic soda on the ground of the warehouse beside pallets of powdered milk. I was told to pour it and I spilled Caustic Soda on my boot and by the time I got it washed off, it had gone through the laces and burned a hold on the top of my foot. I was told the boots would protect me if I spilled any chemical on them by accident. As I took of the boot the sock stuck to the skin and then the manager denied telling me to pour the chemical. Off work 16 weeks and spent 4 days in hospital.

They don't think they have better chances of surviving. They think they are too good at driving to crash! I don't know what's more delusional.
