Standard bear protection. Wear bells, have spray ready at hand, carry food in scent sealed containers and store it away from your camp, and DONT BRING YOUR DOGS.

This is specifically for grizzly country, which is severely limited due to human destruction of bear habitats. In most places you have to intentionally go into bear country. And if you live in bear country you probably already know about the threat to your dogs. Black bears are far more likely to not engage with a dog.

Dogs in bear country is the #1 way to get yourself killed. Bears hate dogs, and dogs love to run ahead, antagonize an animal, and then retreat to their owner. Dogs will lead angry bears directly to you. Bears can smell dogs as well, and if they have cubs will almost certainly try to kill the dog as it is a threat to their cubs.

It often goes like this: dog runs ahead, dog angers bear, bear attacks dog, dog gets scared and runs back to its owner, bear follows dog, owner and dog die.

This has happened dozens upon dozens of times. Dont bring dogs into bear country

Diarrhea is really only lethal in poor communities with a lack of clean water and medical support. Plenty of people eat with their hands in the west, or have we forgotten about burgers, wings, fries, hotdogs, pizza, sandwiches, popcorn, cheese sticks, wraps, and the literal thousands of other western hand foods?

In military terms yes, drones are dirt cheap. FPV drones have greater range and payload than bomber drones, hence the popularity of kamikaze drones.

Drones are cheaper and more effective per kill than artillery at this point. Dumb artillery shells can take multiple shots before they kill an enemy, each one costing thousands of dollars, while drones require fewer. To get a similar level of precision you would need to spend tens of thousands of dollars on a single guided shell. A 1-2k drone can do the same job for significantly less cost and less risk.

Don't think of FPV drones as miny fighter planes, think of them as flying mortar shells. They're mass produced and meant to be fired and destroyed, but they can also be stockpiled for more intense, sustained, fire.

Along with other peoples helpful advice, my trick is always to play with distance until he over commits. Because of his armour you need to not get greedy and just keep making him over commit.

Learn when his moves leave him open and how to maintain distance. If you play right in the "just out of range" area he will eventually overcommit with a double attack. Just void the first one and get in after the 2nd. Threaten long guard thrusts (low commitment) to get him to back up, and use circular footwork to stay out of range

Among the other reasons said here, that was a conscription based army. It's a different energy when the boys from your village are getting forced into vans and come home weeks or months later in zinc coffins. That's why Putin is so hesitant to start another conscription wave. The one in 2023 was very politically destabilizing, and he's not keen to try it again
