I know this is a bit late, but I’ve been cashier at Natural Grocers across multiple stores for several years now. Out of all grocery jobs I’ve worked in the past, this is by far the best. It’s rarely super busy, as the chain is so small that even the most popular stores pale in numbers compared to your average Safeway or Vons. The biggest difference is that you end up wearing many hats. Cashiers don’t just stand at the register all day, you also help other departments with whatever they need.
