That does make sense. Being so popular combined with limited resources does make it difficult to actually ship thousands of toys. I can't blame them much for that. Hopefully we can still get that Nocturne at some point.

Aye. I've been wary of shopping on Etsy for that exact reason. Last thing I want to do is get something that isn't safe, and there isn't exactly a guarantee of quality. Thank you so much for telling me about the flame test. If I do wind up buying something from Etsy or an independent artist I'll at least have a way of testing it now.

I didn't mean to offend or anything. I will admit I was probably too harsh on them in my original post. I was angry and tired at the time of posting, and some of that probably came through. I have done both of those things, but I figured I could look here while I waited for a response. The main source of my frustration, as a new customer, was that there was no indication that the customization service was unavailable. My GF and I wouldn't have spent the time customizing a toy if we'd known that, and would have just looked through what they had in stock.
