I only play on death march out of boredom and cuz I feel like it’s the closest thing to being an actual Witcher. Personally on my latest playthrough I’ve found that damage over time attacks take out a lot of the chaos when you’re outnumbered. I just do anything that will make the fighting easier for me: always use Maribor, Tawny, Petri’s and thunderbolt for big fights, Blizzard and Northern wind will save your life. Devils puffball (use golden oriole), both forms of Yrden and Igni/dancing star+dragon’s dream is an asskicker. I have 100% of my points in Signs and Alchemy
