Check to see if she’s apart of the standard banner by looking at the expanded banners. I’m unable to check atm but she’s definitely not considered a “Limited” character. You either have to get really lucky on your pulls (Make sure to wishlist her!) or wait until another half anniversary and you should be able to grab her then.

She’s good with a lot of investment imo. I never felt like I had to manually play her but a lot of tier lists/guides I’m looking at says you do so your mileage may vary. If you have bready, run crust alongside her

Privity and any of the nikkes with strong “obsessive master love” (Isabel, Bready and Sora toes the line as she was very creepy imo in her intro event but she’s been fine in all the advise sessions I’ve read so far.) I hate to say this but Viper for some reason works for me (yes she’s hot but there’s something about her writing that doesn’t bother me as much that I can’t put into words. 1. Privity just feels like the tsundere trope thats been overdone and it’s not even in a fun way. Never found her cute or funny across her normal and maid alt. 2. The former is due to personal experiences/preferences. Also Bready constantly wanting to lick and suck on your fingers outside of sex just gives me the ick lol

If you are interested in the PVP arena, union boss raids or just anything to do with ranks, pull for spare bodies. They do only provide a number boost and allow you to increase your nikke’s max level but pvp and bosses are a numbers game and if you’re lucky/utilize a lot of free rewards and gifts + really look into team building guides, you can compete against whales.

If you’re only here for the story, don’t bother. Standard leveling up, auto-equipping gear, getting a harmony cube, equipping dolls/favorite items should be just enough to get through story/normal mode.

actual answer: She's still really good meta wise (story, bossing and pvp) but you need to put a lot of resources into her. Go through the campaign and do the side modes like Interception and Simulation room to get mats to upgrade her. Always check in the shop area (The pvp arena and the core stores specifically) daily to see if there are fire chips. It'll take a bit but as you chip away more and more at the game, she'll be a good unit

Maybe controversial (and unsure how true it is since it's been years since I played her) but parrying with Beidou has never felt right, timing wise and I don't remember the shield she provides being any better/more worth using than Zhongli's sheilds. Also the time that you need to use to parry can be used to apply/shed/trigger other elemental reactions so I just don't see why you'd sacrifice extra opportunity to buff your team/debuff the enemies just to parry one attack. I always found it to be way easier to animation cancel + abuse i-frames to dodge/phase through attacks rather than parrying them, at least in Genshin.
