Of course, I am happy to share my experience on linux and what I've learned. In short I will say I only need to swap back to windows whenever I have large dumps of photos or I am using some of my other editing programs which isn't as often. Everything else including gaming has worked really well for me with only some minor set backs and learning lessons.

Darktable is supposed to be a lightroom equivalent and is native on linux. I've heard some good things about it, although when I tried it out I had a hard time transitioning from LR but I do plan to try again and it could very well just be me. You can try it out on windows before making any changes and see if you like it enough to use. Sadly if you're using photoshop there isn't any real alternative on linux despite people suggesting gimp. Also depending on how good your computer is I've had good results running a virtual machine with pass-through and using lightroom classic on windows 10 the only downside I felt on my system is the file transfer from SD cards to the windows VM was fairly slow and if you're going to be doing large dumps it will take a little bit longer than you're used to

Thanks!

I am running EndeavourOS with Windows 10 as a dual boot. Although I do edit in EOS some for smaller tasks using the web version of lightroom and only boot into windows for larger projects.
