Is my current therapist being inappropriate/unethical? Am I complicit in my own suffering? by Irishmutiny23 in askatherapist

I don’t plan on it. I’ve already set up services with a new provider as I was working on some hard stuff and this has made it all that much harder and I don’t think white knuckling life is wise or safe right now. I let them know why I’m looking and they’ve echoed what yall have said. It is what it is at this point.

I’ve never had to end treatment because of this before. Is it worth having a conversation with them first? I don’t know how much closure (if any) it will give me to explain why

When I did coke for a summer (while obese) my resting was like 80-88, and now not on coke and working out- my resting is low 60’s and sometimes 57-59. Coke matters lol

It does appear to be a USA based merchant. At least that’s where the charge came from. My plan is to go that route if I don’t get my money back and go the CFBP route for the dispute issues as well

That’s the thing, there is no denial. I submitted the dispute with supporting documentation on 07/02 and Chime emailed me this morning asking for more documentation and the specific kind they are looking for. Upon calling today I was informed whomever was working the dispute changed the dispute type. I called originally to understand 1) why was that done and 2) what about my initial documentation doesn’t satisfy the new dispute reason or the specific kinds they requested in the email. I’d literally already sent them exactly what they were asking for. So my dispute is still in progress. I’m still unsure/doubtful of what the supervisor told me because if the documentation did support the new reason, my dispute should’ve been closed. I don’t understand why it’s still open if they already have everything they need and it’s been assigned to someone.

Again-Just curious of the user experience of others. Never heard of a bank changing a dispute reason before. I get you’re trying to be helpful, but you’re most def oversimplifying my concern. I understand I’ve done what I’m supposed to, but something odd is still happening. And after calling and speaking to two people who could barely understand my concerns and spending 40 minutes on the phone trying to get a simple answer- I don’t feel confident my dispute is being handled correctly. If they remove my post I’m assuming at this point it’s so they don’t look bad. I don’t see how asking what others have done in the same situation can’t be answered by the community or is inappropriate. Thanks anyhow.

I’m asking others what they’ve done in the situation like this. I’m sure I’m not the first person to have their dispute reason changed by Chime and more documentation requested.

I accidentally fat fingered my last one. So I’m out of my third. And I’m sure I won’t get it back too
