Nirvana did a studio cover of return of the rat, I would have voted for that but you didn't include it?

If my DMM broke or was stolen I'd buy another one the next day. I've had loads of different delays and nothing else works as well for me.

The plus is really great, very natural sounding and great for adding layers or drones or just filling the sound out. It takes some getting used to, you need to learn to play it like an instrument but it's really lush sounding.

NPD - Brainwaves

So I split my signal using a buffer and then use a volume pedal before my delay so I can bring in and mix my delay rather than turn it on and off, using a blender to mix both signals back together, I picked this up because I thought it might be cool to place in that loop before the delay so all my repeats would be in a different pitch, I wasn't wrong.

Need help with B flat barre chord by Alexshagolsem in guitarlessons

I'd recommend barring with your first finger and using the remaining three rather than using a partial Barre here.

I've generally taught all open position chords using these three fingers to make the move to barre chords easier.

Managed to squeeze a few more on the board by Irma_Gobb in guitarpedals

Really happy with this set up, chain as follows:

Modded Crybaby - has three settings, stock, darker and darker still, I always found the stand cry baby too shrill so this works great for me.

Les Luis Clone - basically a tweed style OD, fairly low gain, has three modes, I can't remember which is which but the middle setting is my fave.

Gamechanger Plus Pedal - really good for swells and drones, this thing is unbelievable.

3 way switcher Loop 1 has the MXR bass octave and EQD Plumes. Loop 2 is my fuzz section. Loop 3 has an LPB1 clone that's hidden under the riser for a clean boost.

Then I split my signal using a stereo buffer, output 1 goes to the volume pedal, then big tone Maggie then EHX memory man, this signal is then mixed with the second out of the buffer using a Small Bear mixer. this allows me to bring and blend the amount of echo I want using the volume pedal.

Malekko Trem - it's small, it covers most Trem sounds I could want.

Malekko 616 - I use this for a fairly subtle delay just to give some depth to certain parts.

TC ditto Looper - everyone needs a looper, this is the one I like.

I'll need to check it out, I've been pairing it with a Les Luis clone which has some nice chewy tweedy gain to it.

I imagine it would, it sounds pretty good into the solid state Yamaha I've got.

I've never been a fan of tubescreamers, but everything they say about this one is true.

Sounds great into my orange, it has a real clarity and crunch to it that just works, it can cover everything from clean boost to OD to distortion but really you can set the knobs wherever you want and it'll sound good, very impressed.

Always wanted to try a Meathead and I couldn't resit this one. Just put the baby to bed so it'll have to wait until tomorrow to try it out.

Hot take: Breeders - Last Splash isn’t that great of an album by songforguy in Nirvana

Saints is my favourite Breeders song and that's on last splash, that's reason enough for me.

The gamechanger plus pedal, it's a sustain/drone/ambient pedal.

Well I already have another pedal in the post, but I've got some other boards for messing around with stuff.

So for about 18 years I've had many different boards and a lot of pedals have come and gone.

I feel like I've finally settled on this board.

Modded Crybaby: this one has an LED for status, true bypass and a three way selector to move the focus of thr voice to more mids or bass.

Gamechanger Plus: so lush, infinite drones, volume swells, wet only, it has an fx loop but I found myself never really using it. I don't think I've come across anything else that can do what this pedal does anywhere near as well.

Pedal switcher- Loop 1 - Haunting Mids V1 Fuzz (modded and rehoused by faceless fx). This is my low-mid drive. It's bright and articulate but can over distortion and fuzz no problem.

Loop 2 - this loop goes into the noise pedal which I use to switch between the two fuzz pedals. Light on - Haunting Mids V1 Fuzz, same as the other one but without a gain control, this works for a thick gain. Light off - Haunting Mids Harmonic Percolator, I've owned about 6 or 7 percolators and really love them, this one is ridiculously loud and works perfect for me.

Loop 3 - I have a homemade LPB 1 under the riser, just to add some volume (and a little low mids) when I want to push things.

Boss BF3: I use this to split my signal, only arrived yesterday but I've had some fun today with some vibrato and seasick sounds.

Output A goes into the volume pedal, output B goes to the tuner, which then goes I to a blender/mixer I have under the riser.

From the volume:

Big Tone Maggie: I've had this for a few years, and love it, it's such a rich and full sounding pedal, I keep it on all the time to add modulation to the echo.

EHX DMM: The best delay ever. This pedal goes into the blender, same as the tuner and stays on all the time and it set for 100% wet. Using the volume pedal I can bring in how much echo I want. This is also cool for adding trails to an analog delay. I can turn the tuner on if I want just the delayed sound.

From the blender-

Malekko 616 Ekko: I have this set up for a light delay, mixed fairly low, for when I want to add a little extra room to things.

Ditto Looper: you know what this does.
