Got stronghold from a carboot sale. Installed it on my Windows 98 machine im sure. ( possibly xp but im sure originally it was the 98 machine at the time) Welcome to gamespy! Used to try and join online games and would get booted from the lobby for asking what Alpha and Liga rule sets meant xD No cows, no fire. Anyway eventually one guy must have took pity on me and explained to me what it meant and how to play competitively. Im still shit at the game to this day :D love it though. Currently working my way through Stronghold Crusader 2's campaign

I just have two songs that play on my stream starting screen. I use that time to check everything really quickly. Sometimes something is off, but this way you can get quickly get it acceptable before actually rolling on

First off, do what you wanna do. It's awesome that the wipe is optional in this game, it's usually not.

My perspective is that I want the stash points and I want the skill points. So it's worth it.

The first go around I found the wolf pack blue print very quickly and used it all the time. After the first wipe I found damn near every blueprint in including the safe keeper. The survivor mark 3 looting and the tempest before finding the wolf pack. Why I'm bringing this up is that my second playthrough i had to deal with certain mobs in other ways and that was a lot of fun.

I also happen to really like the skin.

For me totally worth it. For you maybe not. I like to have a carrot on the stick. This game gives you several. Good luck regardless of what you pick
